It’s still day two in St. Petersburg and we are about to start photographing the admirable Alina Boronina at the famous Stoganoff Museum. This ancient building has 14k gold-covered walls, beautiful antique furniture dating back a hundred years (that we were not allowed to touch) and mirrors that seem to be filled with stories. There was a stillness to the location that coincided well with our tranquil but powerful former Miss Russian contenstant, Alina.
